The new TRAM viaduct over the Quisi ravine has been put into service, allowing the passage of the new trains incorporated by  Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana as part of the modernization plan of Line 9. Ingecid has managed the construction management and health and safety coordination of the new viaduct, being in charge of the joint venture formed with AINGENIA RESEARCH AND CONSULTING SL and Degree of Freedom  for the contract of construction management, technical assistance and health and safety coordination of the works of the “Construction project of the Quisi Viaduct in the Calp-Teulada section of line 9 of the Alicante TRAM network”, managed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana.

This action has had a budget of 9.8 million euros and will allow dual trains linking Denia and Calp to do so directly without the need for transfers.
The last phase consisted of the connection of the new viaduct with the existing line, which implied having to cut rail traffic for 10 days to carry out the assembly of the track, welding, connection, as well as the various validation tests of the work, in order to allow the circulation of units with passengers.
