VIRCORE in the health sector
INGECID is currently carrying out the management and BIM modelling of the monitoring of the extension of the emergency service area of the University Hospital of Sant Joan D’Alacant (Alicante, Spain).
La intención de la obra es convertir la zona actual en un espacio más confortable y con más medios en cuanto a The intention of the work is to convert the current area into a more comfortable space with more facilities in terms of management of entrances, exits and alternative circulations within the area. This will make it possible to cope with the high demand for emergencies, which has increased in recent years due to demographic changes.
Specifically, its surface area will be increased by 1510 m2 and a further 1536 m2 will be renovated, in addition to improving accessibility by adapting the facilities to current regulations, such as adapting ramps and designing adapted toilets, among other actions.
In addition to BIM management and the creation of the BIM model, INGECID is responsible for the preparation of plans and interference analysis as well as the configuration, commissioning and monitoring of the Vircore CDE.
The works are expected to last until September 2022, when the improved emergency service will be inaugurated.
