Simulation of the complete construction process of Wikinger's offshore wind farm
The aim of the project was to simulate the entire construction process of the Wikinger offshore wind farm using jackets. To this end, the planning and all processes from the manufacture of the components through the transport logistics to their installation were analysed.
3D/BIM models were developed and processed for all elements identified during the analysis including the ports, jets, wind turbines, turbines, ships, towers, structures, assembly tools, the substation…
From the analysis of the transport and assembly of the elements, the necessary animations were made to show these processes in accordance with the planning of the tasks. In the same way, 3D/BIM animations of the offshore installation process of all the components were made, finally obtaining a video simulation that shows the complete construction process through the use of BIM 4D and 3D methodology.
