Development of semi-submersible offshore wind platform
INGECID has developed numerous structural design works of hybrid concrete-steel towers for wind turbines up to 4.5 MW onshore with different heights of up to 165 m. The concrete part takes advantage of the polygonal geometry for on-site construction. The metal part and the wind turbine are provided by the customer, Siemens Gamesa, which currently has several wind turbines on the market (2.X, 3.X, 4.X).
The design process covers different stages, from the analysis and application of different regulatory frameworks, study of alternatives and definition of pre-designs to the development and optimisation of the final solution, leading to the certification of the tower by DNV-GL. In all these stages, we work actively with the client in search of the best solution.
