INGECID participates in EUBIM 2021

10 November 2021

INGECID continues to actively participate in international congresses, this time it has done so in the 10th EUBIM meeting, held on 1 October, which is considered the largest meeting of BIM users in Spain, where the article “Collaborative BIM management in linear construction projects: Bilbao South Metropolitan Bypass and FGV Railways” prepared by Jesús de Paz, Francisco Ballester and Jokin Rico has been published in the congress magazine.
In this article, INGECID has shown how several projects are being managed through the CDE (VIRCORE), including the Bilbao South Metropolitan Bypass, with Interbiak as the end client, and Section 3 of line 9 Gata-Denia, with FGV as the end client, highlighting the optimal management of these works from the operational point of view, as well as the ability to organise the complex workflows and responsibilities. In these works, a level 2 of BIM implementation has been reached and, at present, we are pursuing the next level of development, showing the advantages acquired when implementing this methodology at levels higher than level 0 or level 1 in these projects.
From INGECID we are committed to the dissemination and transfer of knowledge and we hope to be able to participate in EUBIM22 next year in its on-site version.
