This week we are participating in DigiDECOM23 workshop, an event that we have been attending year after year, organized by the IFE (The Institute for Energy Technology), as an international collaborating center of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), which takes place in Norway.

Jesús de Paz, head of INGECID’s Design Engineering and BIM Department presented the company’s capabilities in digital dismantling 4.0.

Javier Alonso, Director of the Department of Nuclear Engineering, intervened in the block of “new initiatives and emerging technologies”, with his presentation “VIRCORE-FLYT- A reality for a digital decommissioning”, exposing this project led by INGECID for the NND on the decommissioning and waste management of the experimental nuclear reactors of Halden and Kjeller in Norway.

In addition, INGECID wanted to maintain its commitment to the event, being again sponsors of the event.

We would like to congratulate IFE once again for the good organization of this event, which, in addition to promoting the cooperation of companies and the creation of networks in the nuclear sector worldwide, is a great tool for the generation of knowledge in the sector.
