The installation of the wind turbine with a hub height of 144 metres has been completed at the Oualidia wind farm in Morocco, developed by the French company Innovent. The assembly was carried out using the Nabralift 2.0 family of towers from the Navarra-based company Nabrawind Technologies SL.
INGECID has designed the innovative reinforced concrete piled foundation. Three piles have been built, the head of which houses the bolt cage for the connection with the metal tower. This design has made it possible to reduce the amount of concrete and steel by 80% compared to a standard gravity foundation, thus reducing the cost and CO2 emissions during execution by more than 50%.
