Design of a horizontal storage system for spent nuclear fuel.

The objective of the project is the development of a spent nuclear fuel storage system using horizontal storage modules. The project includes the design of an optimized ventilation system, the structural calculation to achieve a reduction in the amount of reinforcement, the design of materials with high radiological shielding capacities and their testing in the laboratory, and the definition of an optimal construction process to minimize time and costs.
