COGNITIVE HOSPITAL project kick-off meeting

1 February 2024

Last week we attended the launch meeting of the COGNITIVE HOSPITAL project, led by SACYR, at the Henares hospital (Madrid). It is a project that focuses on covering the lack of technological solutions for hospital infrastructures, through the design and development of an intelligent platform, based on complex digital technologies.

Ingecid will participate in the analysis of digital technologies and in the development of the platform, using VIRCORE as the base platform for the development. In addition, it will perform the BIM modeling of the Henares Hospital to develop and test the solution.

The 3-year project, with a budget of 6.1 million euros, includes the use of emerging and disruptive technologies, such as BIM methodology up to its seventh dimension (BIM 7D), Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Big Data and IoT.
As a final result, it is intended to achieve an improvement in maintenance processes, energy efficiency, air quality and circularity of assets and materials of the building, among others, driving towards digital and sustainable transformation of management models in hospitals.

From INGECID, we thank SACYR for the trust placed in us to work on the development of this new intelligent platform, which we are confident will mark a before and after in the final management of hospital infrastructures.
