The INGECID Innova Department is constituted as a space for collaboration between the academic and professional spheres, with the aim of promoting innovation, research and development in engineering and construction.  

Our commitment is clear: to support young talent, encourage the development of transformative projects and contribute to the advancement of sustainable and technological solutions in the sector, promoting and encouraging scholarships, awards, training, research projects and other initiatives. 

The signing ceremony was held yesterday, attended by the rector of the UC, Ángel Pazos and the CEO of INGECID, Jokin Rico Arenal, who were accompanied by the director of the ETSI de Caminos, Canales y Puertos, Daniel Castro Fresno, the emeritus professor, Francisco Ballester Muñoz and the vice-rectors of Research and Science Policy, Carlos Beltrán and Knowledge Transfer and Entrepreneurship, Daniel Pérez López. 

With the creation of the INGECID Innova Chair, we reinforce our commitment to the University and the academic field, which we have maintained for years, and which seeks to continue promoting innovation, training and the development of technological solutions that transform the engineering and construction sector.
