At INGECID we are developing an R&D project focused on improving fire protection and emergency management in nuclear power plants.

Taking advantage of our VIRCORE tool, software that has already proven its effectiveness in the nuclear sector, this project will boost new functionalities to optimize evacuation routes, improve the training of workers in emergency scenarios and provide them with real-time assistance in risk conditions, with the support of virtual and augmented reality.

To carry out this project, called IPCIEV, we collaborated with the Research Group GIDAI-UC of the University of Cantabria, experts in nuclear safety and fire management.
